Hi! My name is Tanya and I am a
life and business coach. My practice is called boost-you,
and I relish the opportunity to encourage and support people in
exploring, and ultimately flourishing from life's challenges – big
or small. If you'd like to read a little more about me and why I love my life, then see my bio below. What's probably more relevant to you however, is why a coaching relationship with me can work for you.
My bio: I spent more than 15 years in advertising and marketing, based in London. During that time, I came to appreciate how motivating, encouraging and nurturing people to be the best they could be, in all areas of their life, had great impact on not only their productivity but also their personal lives too. As I really began to stretch and grow personally myself, taking a number of different personal development courses over the years, my desire for change also grew. So then in 1998, despite an excellent career and great social life, both my husband and I left our respective jobs, sold up and moved to Costa Rica – ready for a new life adventure! Here, we explored different opportunities from web design and publishing to farming! We began building our lovely octagonal home – affectionately known as The Mothership - on an organic farm up in the coastal hills. (Check out Finca Ipe on www.fincaipe.com.) This small community was just at the point of growing and expanding and ready for some new input and contribution. After building our house, we decided to head back to London to take advantage of some other work opportunities that would allow us to further create our dream space in Costa Rica. It was while I was in a coached training session for one of my freelance contracts back in London that I had this incredible revelation. As I watched and participated in the coaching session I realized that this was what I wanted to do: coaching! This profession could allow me to use a culmination of all my various skills, with a focus on people. It seems the universe was in agreement, as I won a free coaching session with this particular coach as part of a game that was being played in the group. Not surprisingly, this meeting only served to confirm that coaching was certainly something I needed to pursue further. After some research, I settled on Coach U for my training requirements. I created boost-you, my coaching practice in 2005 and have been loving life all the more since coaching. I have clients both in the UK and Costa Rica and I spend time in both countries. I also find time for the farm, and developing its education programs, as well as helping produce events, DJing, cooking and other creative hobbies! It is not an understatement to say that I love my life. Are you ready to go on a journey with me to really maximize the joy available to you? Email me now. |
