As well as being affordable, the beauty of coaching is also in its flexibility. You may be surprised to learn that most people enjoy their coaching relationships over the phone, with little or no face to face contact with their coaches. Phone coaching is very effective and powerful. It calls for active listening, where one picks up on the subtleties of language, tone, pace…what's said, and not said. It's also a very convenient way to receive coaching.  By the same token, more intensive coaching, combined say with NLP or hypnotherapy, is better in person.

 

Timing is another factor in the coaching relationship. You can choose the kind of coaching programme that works for you and your budget - if you have some big goals, or you're looking for results in a short time frame, then it would be important to have very frequent conversations, say once a week. However, if you're looking for change at a steady pace, then perhaps fortnightly or every three weeks would work better for you. A one off motivation session to help clarify issues or blocks and support you in getting some direction on a particular issue.
